Acme Works is a newly renovated fresh and functional collaborative
work and event space. Within our 8600 square feet we offer shared
tables, dedicated desks, private offices, a shared kitchen and comfy
lounge, three meeting rooms, fax/scanner/printer/copier and two phone
booths for private calls. We are a 24 hour secured space so you can
work whenever you need to and we offer high speed wireless internet.
Located in the Queen West/King West corridor of downtown Toronto we are
close to shops restaurants and cafes and are easily accessible via
public transit.

Getting here and around Transport
You can take the 501 Queen Streetcar west
to the Bathurst Street Stop. Get off at Bathurst and walk two blocks
west to Niagara Street, head south on Niagara. Acme is on the west side
across from Niagara Street Public School. If you take the 504 King
Streetcar head west also to Bathurst Street , walk two blocks west to
Niagara and head north. We have a bike rack so you can ride your bike
and we have limited parking spaces available for a fee of $150 a month.
Eating
At Acme we love eating and there are
literally hundreds of choices close by - Casual Thai, Greek, Indian,
Pizza and Pho restaurants are all within a few blocks walk of Acme. Our
favourite places include the Old York Pub just south of us on Niagara
Street where you can get an amazing spinach salad, for a great grill
cheese and a pint head to the Foggy Dew at the corner of King and
Niagara and for a more formal Italian meal make a reservation at Noce on
Walnut Street. The UFO dinner offers burgers with fries and poutine.
The staff at Acme will be happy to give you a recommendation and
directions.
Drinking
Just like our restaurant selection there
are lots of pubs, bars, and wine bars within walking distance of Acme
Works. Pick your poison, you can find it close by.
Other
The Queen and King Street West
neighbourhoods are rich with independent retailers, clothing designers,
galleries, restaurants and Yoga studios. This formerly industrial
neighbourhood is emerging as one of the most sought after districts in
Toronto and Acme sits in the heart of it all!
Opening times
For Members we are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We
are open to the public via appointment only but staff are generally in
the space Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00PM. Closed on public
holidays.
Population
Acme Works can host between 60 and 70 coworkers. Visit our community

creatives and professionals of all disciplines under the ACME roof. We

supportive work environment Acme Members enjoy access to our network of

available for consultation on an hourly basis and access to our library

Memberships
We offer a variety of membership packages so you can pick the package
that works best for you. With our shared table packages (full or
part-time) and our dedicated desks we work month to month. We require a
six month commitment for our private offices. Our pricing is on a per
month basis and HST is added to all costs. Shared amenities include
secured access, monitoring via security cameras, office cleaning, high
speed wireless internet, shared kitchen with free coffee/tea, shared
lounge, fax, scanner and two phone booths for private calls. with
advance notice you can book a one day free trial at our shared tables.
Day passes are available for $25 a day.
MembershipPrice Notes Full time $285 This membership package gives you great flexibility. It offers you
unlimited access. You will share a table with up to seven other
coworkers with access to all shared amenities. Meeting Rooms,
photocopier/printer and postal service available on a pay per use basis.
You can use a locker to stash your stuff if you need to run out for a
meeting (bring your own lock). Part time $190
This package offers all the same inclusions as full time membership but you only get 80 hours of monthly access.
Dedicated Desk $495 If you need more space and more privacy this is the package for you.
You'll sit at a highly functional Von desk with a privacy screen.
Lockable, pedestal filing cabinet and 3 hours of monthly meeting room
time as well as all shared amenities and postal service are included.
Additional meeting room hours and photocopier/printer available on a
pay per use basis. Private Offices $950-$1250 If you are a small company, group of workers or you simply want
extra privacy this is the package for you. We have a range of
dedicated, lockable, customizable offices that can accommodate 1-6
workers. All shared amenities, postal service and 10 hours of meeting
room time are included. Additional meeting room hours and
photocopier/printer available on a pay per use basis. A six month
commitment is required.Hourly Meeting Room Rentals $45 - $55 per hour Need a space for a quick meet up? Want to impress a client or
investor? Our three meeting rooms are available Mon-Fri by the hour or
by the day. All three rooms include layered lighting and 38 inch colour
screens with HDMI connection. VOIP phones are available for conference
calls with free calling within North America. Coffee/tea and water are
included and a friendly Acme Works representative will welcome your
guests.
Event Space
Looking to host a private event? Whether you are planning a
reception, group seminar, fundraising event, pop up restaurant or shop,
trunk show, private party or product launch we have the space you need.
With access to almost 7000 square feet including the kitchen, lounge,
reception area and three meeting rooms there are a variety of options to
accommodate your event. Available evenings and weekends. Rates
available upon request.
