Manaslu Circuit Trekking

Manaslu Circuit Trek Cost: USD 890 per person

The Manaslu Trek is a stunning and adventurous trekking route in the Himalayas of Nepal. Named after the eighth-highest mountain in the world, Mount Manaslu (8,163 meters or 26,781 feet), this trek offers a unique and less crowded alternative to the popular Annapurna Circuit.
The trek takes you through diverse landscapes, including lush green valleys, terraced fields, dense forests, and High Mountain passes. You'll have the opportunity to experience the region's rich cultural heritage as you pass through traditional Nepalese villages inhabited by various ethnic groups, such as the Gurungs and Tamangs.

The trail provides breathtaking views of the Manaslu massif and other peaks like Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, and Ngadi Chuli. Trekkers often encounter serene alpine lakes, suspension bridges, and Buddhist monasteries along the way, adding to the cultural and natural allure of the journey.
Manaslu Trek is considered a tea-house trek, meaning that trekkers can find accommodation in local teahouses and lodges along the route, making it more accessible than camping treks. The trekking route circumvents the Manaslu Conservation Area, offering a chance to witness the region's diverse flora and fauna, including the elusive snow leopard.

Due to its challenging terrain and higher altitudes, the Manaslu Trek is recommended for those with some trekking experience and good fitness. The trek requires a special permit, adding to the sense of adventure and exclusivity. Overall, the Manaslu Trek promises an unforgettable journey through some of Nepal's most spectacular and less-explored landscapes.
