Hugsy: A comforting solution designed to enhance bonding

Hugsy is a set of comforting tools designed to be used with preterm neonates and their parents in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Hugsy facilitates and simulates kangaroo care (KC) through comfortably holding babies against their parent's chest during KC sessions, capturing the parental scent and heartbeat, and exposing babies to these positive stimuli when back in the incubator. In the incubator, Hugsy is also used as a positioning tool, to give babies a feeling of support.
