Lai Tan was born in 1977 in Ibadan, the third largest city in Nigeria. She comes from a large family of seven children. Lai always has a story writing itself inside her head and draws inspiration from events around her. She was that child and then the teenager who wrote happy endings whilst surrounded by life’s hardships. She partly lives in the real world and a fantasy one. She has completed several manuscripts over the years but has not ventured into the world of romance publishing until now. Lai lives in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, with her partner and three kids. She is a hopeless romantic who enjoys the thrills that come with manipulating a more pleasant world on the inside than the reality we all live on the outside. She considers the biggest compliments paid to her writing as being asked if she was a writer, off sending people one or two lines in a text message!
