7 Days Rwenzori Trekking Expeditions, Rwenzori Mountains Central Circuit Trail

introduction

As its well know that Rwenzori mountaineering takes you through either of the two routes, book the 7 days Rwenzori mountain central circuit trail to hike through the various vegetation cover up to the top of margherita peak the highest point on Uganda's famous rwenzori mountains national park located in south west with the nearest time being kasese. Over 30,000 people hike rwenzori mountains using the central circuit Route on either 7 days or 8 days Rwenzori Hiking tour heading up the Bujuku valley, over the Scott Elliot Pass to the stunning Kitandara Lakes then over Fresh field Pass into the Mubuku Valley. As mentioned above, there are numerous huts along this section, most of which are quite nice. The trails are very rough and contain deep mud in many places but are quite well maintained given the weather and conditions. At various times efforts have been made to install boardwalks over some of the deeper bogs but many of these have rotted and are currently in various states of disrepair. It takes most people roughly a week to approach and climb Mt. Stanley

Rwenzori Mountains Central Circuit Route

The 7 Days Rwenzori mountain Central Circuit is recommended to clients that are already to the base while those from kampala will have to add an extra day for transfer from Kampala to Kasese town, and it becomes the 8 days Rwenzori Hiking tour for an ultimate trekking experience in rwenzori mountains national park.

The stretch of the trail just to the south of the pass is very rough, but after a short stretch, it becomes mellower and continues to Kitandara Lake Hut.

Day 6: Kitandara hut (3979m) - Guy Yeoman hut (3505m)
