Analyst, CM EU Category Planning (m/f)

Wayfair is building the marketing platform to run a pan-European online home & lifestyle business and replicate the success of our US parent company. Your Tasks:

  • Collaborate across departments to drive category and Wayfair goals (departments include Pricing, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Promotions, Supplier Operations, Process Improvement, Storefront / Product Management, Customer Service, Business Intelligence)
  • Extensively communicate with Category Management team to understand the business priorities and pain points across categories, and develop impactful projects
  • Conduct analyses and build advanced reporting using SQL, Excel and R to drive business decisions and solve different pressing problems
  • Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives, from internal process enhancement projects to strategic supplier outreach
  • Use SQL, data analytics, and other research tools to find patterns and identity root causes
  • Become the “go-to” resource for all of category management metrics, tools and technology

Your Profile:

  • Sufficient work experience with a track record of project management, cross-functional stakeholder management and business analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, with positive “can do, will do” attitude
  • Strong analytical skills with solid experience in Excel, SQL, PPT (R, Python preferred)
  • Good project management skills, can manage multiple stakeholders and drive different initiatives to achieve impactful goals
  • Deep business acumen, comfortable with solving ambiguous business problems
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • High intellectual curiosity – strong desire to always be learning
  • Creative and innovative spirit to change status quo
