RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales and contribution margin responsibility for the business of the Evonik Health Care in the area
- Exploring and understanding of commercial and technical needs of customers and the value of new business opportunities
- Achieving sustainable growth with existing and new customers utilizing the full value of broad portfolio of specialized products and services
- Conducting contract and price negotiations in compliance with the internal guidelines
- Promoting a favorable image of Evonik and the unit Health Care to all external contacts
- Preparing and monitoring sales actuals vs. budget and PY for each product, application and customer in the territory
- Suggesting and implementing corrective actions in case of deviations from the budget
- Tracking account receivables and assisting in collecting outstanding debts
- Generating, evaluating and reporting of market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage
- Creating business and growth plans for the responsible region
- Cooperating with and supporting of internal departments of the business line, e.g. Product Management, Innovation Management, Technical Service, Sales Support / Customer Service, Supply Chain Management
- Identifying new business and/or new projects and support the launch of new products and services
