Associate Producer

A little over two years ago we opened a new development studio in Amsterdam. To support this small team's growth and its future projects, we are looking for an Associate Producer to help make great games for Bohemia. You would cooperate directly with the Project Lead and other team members on development coordination. That could entail assisting with project administration, supporting multi-disciplinary groups of devs, tracking progress on new features / assets, and similar activities. Ultimately you would help the team to smoothly release and support our games in the best possible shape. We are very interested in candidates with an eye for quality, precise work methods, an ability to consider the big picture, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Coordination: monitoring project progress / issues, removing obstacles, identifying bottlenecks, and bringing together all disciplines across various studios
  • Planning: guarding / updating the development roadmap, tracking milestones / deliverables, and scheduling / prioritizing work
  • Production: organizing / running multidisciplinary strike teams, and guiding work through development pipelines
  • Administration: maintaining a coherent / complete overview of the project
  • Communication: preparing updates / presentations for various audiences, and participating in team meetings
  • Support: facilitating the team to do their work effectively and happily
  • Evaluation: play-testing our games, providing feedback, and enjoying the results!

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with game development
  • Experience with office applications (word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets)
  • Quickly able to learn new tools, methods, and pipelines
  • Strong focus on quality, precision, consistency, and details
  • Calm, practical, proactive, and self-motivating in a highly dynamic environment
  • A willingness to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Welcomed

  • A passion for games and game development
  • Relevant game development skills that may be combined with production work, such as Quality Assurance, Art, Design, or Programming
  • An understanding of the full game development cycle and iterative development methodologies
  • Experience with Arma (3) / Real Virtuality engine and the relevant tools
  • Experience with Unity / Unreal Engine or other popular game engines
  • Experience with project (management) applications
  • Experience with Atlassian information systems (Confluence / JIRA)
  • Experience with bug reporting platforms
  • Experience with mastering and distributing game builds
  • Experience with versioning and revision control systems (e.g. SVN)
  • Experience with working in teams, across multiple locations
  • Experience with leading people / teams
  • Experience in an international company
