RESPONSIBILITIES

Surface Technology offers silicone-, polymer- and oleochemical based specialties to the Agro and Release Liner markets. Highly specialized additives increase the efficiency of agricultural formulations. Radiation-curing UV silicones for release coatings are used in the manufacturing of labels and tapes, e.g. diaper tapes.

 

  • Managing existing business and developing new business opportunities in the region South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa in the Market segments Agro and Release Coatings.

  • Manage the promotion of Evonik´s additives product portfolio for applications in Agro formulation e.g. for use in Crop Protection in the region including communication tools and trade shows.

  • Attain sales goals through implementation and management of strategies that support direct sales efforts and those of territory Distributors.

  • Direct handling of customers and distributors.

  • Develop country and customer plan for regional extension in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Support product registrations by dealing with local/national authorities with a strong back-up from the headquarter.

  • Be accountable for identification and closure of individual business opport
