Commercial Counsel

Opportunity to join a fast growing team within the corporate & commercial legal department in EMEA. This opening is for a commercially minded lawyer to serve the growing needs of our enterprise team across EMEA, focussing on structuring and leading transactions and acting as a business partner for internal teams to support new product solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise stakeholders and regional legal team on a variety of commercial agreements, including membership, design/build, consulting and technology agreements.

  • Support Growth (Sales, Development, Advisory and Technology) teams to facilitate the timely review, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements.

  • Identify and consult on legal risks in connection with the development of new products across multiple jursidictions.

  • Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding the Growth legal team's transactions.

  • Maintain and update form agreements, contract management systems, and other databases.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales. US or European bar qualifications will be considered. 

  • 4 - 5 years of top-tier firm or in-house experience in reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
  • Excellent academics.
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to understand business needs and partner with the business to identify needs and create solutions.
  • Experience of and ability to multi-task and project manage several complex and fast paced projects.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and flexible.
  • Experience working on multijurisdictional transactions. 
  • Responsible, accountable, self-starter and result-driven.
  • A multi-tasker with excellent analytical and legal skills.
  • Foreign language skills (European), are a plus but not required
