Customer Service Representative

  Job Description

  Job Summary:

In a professional, customer-oriented environment, the primary focus of the Customer Service Representative will be to provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding pricing, return material procedures, and order status while supporting a high volume of RMA issuance and other related administrative tasks in support of the Service Team.

All functions shall be performed in accordance with Company ISO 9001:2000 Quality Procedures, with the goal of achieving the Company Management Business and Quality Objectives as are regularly set out, communicated and monitored in FLIR Systems Quality Management Objectives.

Detailed Description:

  • To liaise with customers to meet their requirements, including raising quotations, generating service delivery notes and meeting the paperwork requirements of the Quality System
  • To manage the receiving process for returned camera systems and working with the Service Manager and Senior Engineers ensure the workload priorities are correct.
  • To arrange shipments, including packing, arranging collection and delivery.
  • To monitor the UK pool of service spare systems to ensure adequate contract cover
  • To provide a co-ordination point for customer support requests
  • To provide administrative support to the Service Team regarding Service Trackers manual process, until such time as the Service SAP module is rolled out in the UK.
  • Entering sales orders and return materials authorisations onto SAP.
  • Working with the export compliance team to authorise import and export of repairs and parts

Experience:

  • Experience of using ERP packages such as SAP
  • Knowledge of working with shipping and courier companies
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal/external customers
  • Ability to multi-task and organise workload
  • Clear, competent and pleasant telephone manner
  • High level of accuracy
  • Flexible working style
  • Self confident
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically MSWord, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a customer focused environment
  • Qualification level min English, Mathematics GCSE/O’Level
