Data Architect

MindGeek is looking for a Data Architect to join a team of experts overseeing large volumes of mission-critical data and associated database environments.

You will be thriving in a team that conceptualizes, designs, implements, and optimizes data by applying specialized knowledge of information and database management disciplines. You will be also curating our collective success by applying your knowledge of high performance techniques, coaching, and collaboration strategies to enhance the expertise in data engineering and information management of the team. All this – in context of high traffic, high load, and high availability.

You are an ideal candidate if you are:

• An expert in data handling approaches and technologies with good understanding of system development lifecycles
• Able to analyze, conceptualize, build, and optimize complex data systems
• Versed with both relational and noSQL databases, with passion for big data.
  • Knowledge of MySQL (MariaDB, Percona), Vertica, and ElasticSearch are a plus.
• Experienced with Big Data, data streaming and pipelining, and ETL approaches
• Battle-tested in similar role for at least 3 years.
