Description

The Site Reliability Engineering team is directly responsive for the availability of the Adcash® customer facing solutions. This team monitors the applications, reacts to problems, proactively addresses issues before they become problems and builds tools to constantly improve availability, performance, uptime and response time.

This is a unique opportunity to kick off your career as an engineer joining our ongoing quest to improve the reliability of the platform as a DevOps.

You will be taking on smaller projects or parts of a larger project and collaborating with other engineers and our CTO to get input on implementation details and decisions. With more time in this role, you’ll understand the why and what behind the feature vs just the how to get something live. Plus, you will get more independent in shipping features.

During the internship, you will get support from your own mentor to help you learn and develop professionally. Your manager will introduce you to the Adcash team, our work culture and onboard you to our office activities.

This is a paid internship with a competitive salary package, you will also have Adcashers’ perks.


What you will do:

  • You will work with the other engineering team to develop or introduce new tools designed to help smoothen the development of products. (for example: Continuous Integration software, application monitoring solutions...)
  • You will write scripts to monitor systems and automate tasks.
  • You will also troubleshoot issues across the entire stack (diagnose software, application and network) and document current and future configuration processes and policies.

In order to apply you should have:

  • Self-starter spirit and a collaborative, "can-do" attitude
  • Practical knowledge of shell scripting and at least one scripting language among PHP or Python.
  • Familiar with existing open source projects such as nginx, haproxy, MySQL, Redis, etc.
  • Familiarity with systems management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc).
  • Proficiency in English
