ECOMMERCE EXECUTIVE

Wool and the gang are looking for an Ecommerce to Executive to join our growing digital gang. Reporting to the Head of Online, this role is a great opportunity for an Ecommerce enthusiast with a love of all things digital.

As the Ecommerce Executive you will work across all departments to ensure the site maintains the highest level of commercial excellence at all times. Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Create and maintain promotions to support products and services via digital marketing activity across all channels.
  • Conduct weekly site walks and analyse weekly product and category performance to ensure that ‘value added’ sales.

- Preparation and prompt presentation of line management requested reports and documents.
  • 
Oversee content creation for product listings. Coordinate unique product descriptions and other product specifications in a timely manner for product launches.
  • Requesting and preparing suitable product images and assets.
- Uploading assets onto site for product, category pages and homepages.
  • 
Optimising product/category and tutorial information to improve organic rankings on Google and YouTube.
  • 
Ensuring product stock levels and prices are up to date on all channels at all times.
  • 
Maintain high quality standards on merchandising of products across all online channels, providing feedback as necessary to the manager.
  • 
Manage the approval and integration of UGC via Olapic to homepage and product pages.
  • 
Monitor on-site customer reviews and be the main point of contact for on-site customer service queries.
  • 
Support line manager with site development tasks, whilst monitoring and escalating any site issues.

The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate:

  •  Proven commitment to providing outstanding levels of customer experience on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Previous experience of using Google Analytics and CMS, with a general comfort learning and using new software and systems.
  • Confident, approachable and adaptable.
  • Dedication to constant self development with a desire to ‘learn through doing’.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with a team player mentality and a general positive approach to all elements of the role.
