Experienced front-end engineer

Ardoq enables businesses to create and maintain a digital representation of their processes, systems and the dependencies. This is used in a wide variety of use-cases, including compliance, cyber security, enterprise architecture and digital transformation.

Ardoq has several large single page applications. These make up the main product and customer facing side of Ardoq. The quality, power, and ease-of-use is imperative to our success.

At Ardoq you will join our front-end team, responsible for developing, maintaining and improving our front-end applications.

Some of the responsibilities of a senior front-end engineer at Ardoq:
Development and maintenance of the Ardoq code base.
Write maintainable and testable code.
Proactively work for higher quality in the code base and take ownership of the total product quality.
Keep up to date on relevant technology.
Give feedback to others, e.g. through pull requests.
Contribute to the technical learning environment in Ardoq. E.g. host «tech talks».
Contribute with onboarding of new employees.
Contribute to technical support, in accordance with current company guidelines.
Contribute to sales processes if called upon.

Skills & Requirements

You have:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subjects.
3+ years of work experience as a software engineer.
Passion for building beautiful web apps with stellar user experience.
Experience with JavaScript and building large single page applications (SPA).
Experience with HTML and CSS.

You have or would like to gain:
Experience with React.
Experience with JavaScript libraries, such as Redux and rxjs.
Experience with JavaScript build tools, such as webpack and npm.
Experience with svg and libraries such as d3 and yfiles.
