Front-end developer

We want you to be a key player in a team that is building the product required to handle our rapid global growth. Our multidisciplinary team combines design, front-end and backend engineering, quality assurance and project management.

As a front-end developer at Brella, you'll be involved in the product development process from start to finish, from building new features to scaling our architecture. You'll enjoy a high level of ownership of the features you work on.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Participating in every phase of the development process from concepting to release
  • You will be building and maintaining our component library, so you will be working closely with our designers. We expect you to be able to design maintainable and modular components according to current best practices.
  • Working with our stack (React + Redux + Redux Saga + JSONAPI). It's likely that we will change things in the future and we expect you to be quick to adapt.
  • Refactoring and transitioning large-scale JavaScript front-end applications between frameworks and APIs
  • Front-end field is moving fast so we expect you to keep up with the field and share knowledge with your team

 What we expect:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in React and/or React Native
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss design decisions
  • Understanding of lean product development
  • Generalist attitude and good team skills
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to develop projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
  • Understanding of serverless architectures is a plus
  • Experience in design is a plus
  • Understanding design tools such as Sketch, Framer, Figma, etc. is a plus
