With software and service(s), meeting the needs of both d2c and b2b customers, we are continually innovating and expanding. Our unique software has even been launched onto four continents under white-labels. With an ambitious team – there is huge appetite for growth both nationally within the consumer and business services space.
Overview of the role
Are you a talented and creative designer? Would you like to ‘own’ brand and design for a forward thinking mobile tech company?
This role would enable you to really get involved with all aspects of design. You will be our in-house design studio, the main lynchpin of all brand design at Laundrapp. Joining Laundrapp at a point where we go through a brand evolution – you will initially manage our brand agency’s visual rebrand of Laundrapp, alongside designing the new website and mobile apps. Once this is complete, you would implement the new brand across all medium from tube campaigns, to rich display ads and social media videos. Our ‘engagement’ team also have some design skills – leaving you to work on the more exciting, challenging projects.
Responsibilities
Brand Evolution. (4 Month Project)
Working with the external brand agency, our UX designer, marketing team and respective developers, you would:
- Oversee external brand agency’s visual production (logo/ assets/ design etc)
- (Re)design our website (responsive/ mobile first)
- Reskin or redesign current iOS & Android Apps (TBC)
- Redesign our email templates
Ongoing Design Projects.
Working closely with the marketing team, you would manage design from brief to final sign-off (or agreement).
- All web and mobile graphics/ templates
- Industry assets – van skins, uniforms, labels, plastic wraps, hangers, bags etc (which will be rolled out incrementally after brand evolution)
- Tube and other traditional advertising
- More complex/ creative social media graphics
- Email template designs
- Rich media banners and other ad formats
- Video editing
- Potential for art direction videos/ photo shoots
Brand Guardianship and Assets Management.
Overseeing visual brand guardianship for all marketing and corporate materials, including the engagement team who will create many of their own social assets.
- Ensure all creative is on brand/ on tone
- Manage a folder of suitable assets or DAM for use at Laundrapp
- Oversee quality of engagement team’s social media creative output
Management.
- Potential to grow or have a junior in the longer-term
It is expected that you will have a one month handover, with the existing designer – who works on the current brand to get you started.
Role to start End-March/ Early April.
Required Experience
- 5+ years Website / App design
- 3+ years digital full-service design
- 2+ years traditional design
- Delivered 6+ high quality responsive web design projects
- Delivered 2+ high quality app design projects
- Strong typography, layout, editorial and digital skills
- Adobe Creative Suite
- After Effects /Final Cut / Premiere Pro
- Basic HTML/ CSS
- Organised and able to manage own time effectively
- Dynamic with good people skills
- Large Format Print Advertising
Desirable Experience
- Appreciation of fashion industry, interiors and ecommerce
- Agency and in-house experience preferred
- Tech brand/ D2C experience
Qualifications
Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
