Head of Channel Marketing (Fixed Term Contract)

About the opportunity:

Due to an internal secondment, we have a vacancy for a Head of Channel Marketing in our Academic Marketing team until the end of April 2019.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative and friendly global team. The role will manage our library, higher education and key retail account marketing teams in the UK and US, and will work closely with the managers of these teams and with our regional sales directors to ensure our marketing strategies are meeting customer needs as well as our sales objectives.

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager, with a customer-focused mind set and a strong understanding of how marketing teams can align with sales teams to deliver joint goals. Sales experience and experience of marketing in a publishing context are also useful. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of getting the best from teams, and be excited by the challenge of marketing in a changing landscape.
