Head of Marketing (f/m)

Your Tasks:

The primary responsibility of this role is to grow 1&1’s market share in France within the hosting business segment through innovative and outside-the-box strategies. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer in the German Headquarters of Hosting, this position will work closely with global product teams, global marketing teams, and diverse sales channels to achieve sales growth and revenue goals.  The Head of Marketing France will develop a deep understanding of the business segment and the competitive landscape, and build effective acquisition and channel strategies to maximize business growth. Essential duties include:

  • Developing France marketing strategy in close relation to global marketing and CMO
  • Shaping 1&1's competitive positioning angle as a challenger in a noisy market
  • Developing and translocating go-to-market and campaign strategy, for existing products and brands, and new launches.
  • Working with advertising department to build new channels and optimize existing channels to improve awareness, acquisition, revenues and life-time value of customers
  • Creating a communication strategy positioning the brand as a thought leader in the market
  • Defining trade show strategy, managing their production and ensuring a 1&1 presence
  • Daily performance monitoring and reporting of the business health of the market

We Appreciate:

For this position you have a successful completion of a bachelor's degree in a related field and around five years of experience in e-commerce marketing or similar relevant experience, preferably in an IT/ High-Tech environment.

  • Business launch or business development experience
  • Excellent digital marketing skills, including mobile and social performance marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of campaign integration, media channels usage and performance, and media mix modeling
  • Proven self-starter and self-motivated thinker-doer
  • Fluent English written and spoken and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience managing communications agencies, trade shows and fairs
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
