IT Procurement and Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Description
- Design, build and rollout an IT asset management solution which is fully integrated with the current technology stack.
- Build and maintain a reliable database within the asset management with all the existing assets and configuration items as well as for all upcoming ones.
- Maintain the end-to-end life-cycle of the IT assets and configuration items.
- Define new hardware and support the IT department in testing procedures and in interaction with the external suppliers during the certification process.
- Define and implement a centralized inventory management process, where current stock can be reported and forecast for all hardware and software parts of the asset management database.
- Lead the procurement, repair and disposal activities of IT assets (hardware, software, contracts).
- Keep track of all open orders and continuously aim for a low number of orders in the procurement queue.
- Establish strong business relationships with the external providers, based on KPIs and SLAs where possible.
- Act as an interface and represent the Signavio IT Department in front of the end user community for all standard and non-standard order requests.
- Support the User Support Team and Core Infrastructure Team with troubleshooting and technical knowledge if needed.
- Support our internal On-Boarding process with hardware and software licenses effectively and in a timely manner.
- Act as the “stand in” for all the Core Infrastructure and User Support team related issues.
- Prepare monthly operation reporting (MOR).
- Lead the Signavio Service Improvement Plan and be the interface between the management and the internal team.
- Manage and continuously improve the IT procurement process, standard & non-standard process through internal ticketing system.
- Keep the documentation up-to-date and ensure IT Security policies are followed.
Requirements
- You have more than 5 years experience in IT in the area of data analytics, asset management, procurement and IT Infrastructure or user support processes and tools.
- You have previously worked with a Ticketing system, e.g. Jira, Servicenow or Confluence.
- You are experienced in the IT procurement process management, e.g. asset management, invoicing, stock and inventory management, disposal.
- You possess strong technical knowledge and skills on the IT Infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Network, Virtualization (ESX), Win10 OS and MacOS, Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 Server, Databases (SQL / Access / Excel).
- You have gained experience in user support and troubleshooting based on Incident Management.
- You are proficient in implementing and integrating new systems into the current landscape, following the Design-Build-Test-Rollout approach.
- You have an analytical and structured approach along with the ability to design a project from scratch and work independently.
- You bring strong ITIL knowledge and ideally have programing skills
- You have a good overview of best security practices within IT Infrastructure Services and the end user community.
