Junior Production Manager

Welcome to Smyle. We are a multi award winning creative agency dedicated to creating extraordinary live events and digital experiences, fusing creativity and technical innovation.

For us, the idea is everything.

Make it smart.

Make it bold.

Make it matter.

We are looking for a Junior Production Manager who is hungry to learn and has a passion for developing their career in live events.

The Role

The Junior Production Manager is part of the team that is responsible for all technical delivery and production for live events and brand experiences. This encompasses but is not limited to AV, lighting, sound and power.

You will play a very important part in providing support to the wider team on the projects they deliver. You will be learning from the ground up, taking advantage of the wealth of experience within the team, giving you the chance to hone your technical skills across multi media areas.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the beginning of their technical production career who is looking for a position within a company that offers huge learning and development opportunities.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong interest in technical production, and will have already learned the basics of at least one medium (eg AV/sound/power), through studies or work experience. We would be particularly interested in applications from anyone with technical production experience in a theatre.

A positive and enthusiastic attitude is key to this role. We want someone who is eager to learn, keen to get involved in projects and has a can-do approach. A strong work ethic is essential, and you will need to be good at communicating.

Life at Smyle

All aspects of our projects are delivered in-house, and we are proud of the diversity of roles we offer across the business. We are growing, and are investing hugely in our people, our office space and our resources. We have a relaxed and friendly office environment, and every single person is committed to delivering outstanding work at every opportunity.

We work hard and celebrate success, recognising the talented people who work here whenever we can. We have a full social calendar of events for us to enjoy, and a very generous benefits package with a strong focus on personal wellness.
