The central controlling, planning and analysis team (CPA) in Telenor Norway is responsible for financial and performance reporting and providing financial information and analysis to top management. This includes performance management, strategic financial modelling, improvement agenda including cost office and assessment of investment decisions. Lead Simplification and Efficiency Agenda will report to Head of CPA.
We are currently looking for a person for a 6 month temporary position with likely continuation. You will be responsible for driving the efficiency agenda in Telenor Norway and ensure that we are able to capture long-term, structural opportunities, in line with strategy. For the right person, you will be given great responsibility and autonomy to shape and influence the role. You will interact with people across entire Telenor Group, develop a broad understanding of the organization, and be highly visible to the senior management in both Telenor Norway and Telenor Group.

This is what you will be doing:
- Closely follow the structural cost initiatives in Telenor including establish strong working relationship with initiative owner and finance lead and in depth knowledge of financial and operational status in the initiative.
- Take lead in financial modelling in strategy process including setting financial ambitions and targets.
- Close cooperation with Telenor Group Cost Office and Telenor Norway strategy team
- Prepare and lead presentations and meetings with Telenor Norway management team and division management teams.
- Drive full OE agenda in Telenor Norway including e.g. deep dive in a specific areas as required.
- Take responsibility of driving own analysis/ initiatives and cooperate closely across finance teams.
- Ad hoc tasks and analysis.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you probably have
- Masters degree in relevant discipline with excellent academic results.
- Significant experience in business controlling, strategy development or management consulting
- Solid understanding of key value and cost drivers in telecom is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including to top management
- Scandinavian language is required
