We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. Our ideal candidate should have advance knowledge of manufacturing technologies & processes with focus on manufacturing equipment and assembly lines.
1. Responsibilities and work tasks
- Review engineering drawings for completeness, verify work documents with plans and specifications
- Identify potential production technology issues and formulate solutions with Design (Vehicle & Component Engineering)
- Creates procedures and documentation for the manufacturing process (process flow document, mBOM, VMS, PFMEA, work instructions, assembly drawings…)
- Communicates and works with pieceworkers, suppliers, and internal cross functional departments
- Provide technical support to Design teams
- Design, develop, characterize, optimize and validate manufacturing equipment and lines for battery systems
- Specifies jigs and tooling to be used on assembly line. Provides input for equipment procurement
- Assembly process structuring in 3DX
- Make feasibility studies for new projects
- Other assignment’s delegated by the superior
2. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or similar field of study
- Experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or 3DX
- Experience in auto-motive industry (preferably)
