We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. Our ideal candidate should have advance knowledge of manufacturing technologies & processes with focus on manufacturing equipment and assembly lines.

 

1. Responsibilities and work tasks

  • Review engineering drawings for completeness, verify work documents with plans and specifications
  • Identify potential production technology issues and formulate solutions with Design (Vehicle & Component Engineering)
  • Creates procedures and documentation for the manufacturing process (process flow document, mBOM, VMS, PFMEA, work instructions, assembly drawings…)
  • Communicates and works with pieceworkers, suppliers, and internal cross functional departments
  • Provide technical support to Design teams
  • Design, develop, characterize, optimize and validate manufacturing equipment and lines for battery systems
  • Specifies jigs and tooling to be used on assembly line. Provides input for equipment procurement
  • Assembly process structuring in 3DX
  • Make feasibility studies for new projects
  • Other assignment’s delegated by the superior

 

2. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or similar field of study
  • Experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or 3DX
  • Experience in auto-motive industry (preferably)
