Marketing & Community Associate
The Founder Institute—the world's premier startup launch program —has helped launch over 2000 companies across the globe, and we’re looking for a Community & Social Media Associate with a love for startups to help us. We are based in Silicon Valley but operate in over 100 cities worldwide, and our success has been documented in the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, TechCrunch, and many more. You will have the opportunity to see entrepreneurship, angel investing, and venture capital from every angle, and you’ll be greeted each morning by a friendly wagging tail (a Puggle named Hercules).
The ideal candidate can thrive in a fast-moving, exciting startup environment. As a Community & Social Media Associate, you will:

Engage, manage and grow the Founder Institute Global Community through events, content, and more.

Manage and develop strategies to grow our social media accounts, which include over 500,000 followers across Twitter, Facebook, Meetup, and more.

Develop new content and social media campaigns to drive traffic growth and thought leadership

Create marketing and social media imagery (experience with Photoshop/ Illustrator is a plus, but not required)

Foster ongoing dialogue with world-wide list of graduate companies, and promote their efforts and accomplishments across our community

Manage, promote, and develop startup events across the globe (both physical and online)
- Clear path to taking over a marketing "territory" where you can manage all branding and marketing for a geographic region.
* Social Advertising, Design and/or Development Skills, and event management experience are a huge plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION: Full-time salary commensurate with experience.
