Project Manager
The project manager adheres to and ensures that the project delivers the solution in line with the agreed scope, remains within budget, is delivered on time, while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client and stakeholder satisfaction. This individual takes ownership of the project completion and transition to the Business Owner and "run mode" for business as usual activities.
Therefore he/she executes the overall project following the PMO Gate lifecycle process to insure success through multiple plans (budget, schedule, communication, risk management, etc), and necessary monitoring with corrective action.
WIN/WIN MISSIONS
- Budget: develops the overall budget in collaboration with program management and team leaders to insure an accurate cost estimate to enable the organization to make a well-informed decision, executes the project with pro-active budget control.
- Schedule: Develops the overall schedule with project team leaders to provide a realistic schedule, Monitors the schedule and proactively scans the project activities progress to insure the project is delivered as specified.
- Scope: Defines the preliminary scope to meet the stated need of the project in collaboration with program management, Monitors the scope, maintaining the original project scope preventing unnecessary scope creep while keeping the leadership actively informed of any necessary changes.
- Leadership: leads multiple teams/individuals responsible for sections of the project, Develops and executes management routines (via weekly meetings, rituals...) to provide oversight and guidance to insure each project team and project section is successful
- Communication: Develops communication plans to ensure that the project organization is actively engaged and always aware of the status of the project, Pro-actively communicates risks with mitigation plans in advance of it becoming a problem.
KEY SKILLS & MINDSET
- General Qualification in Project Management (Degree)
- 2-3 years' working experience
- At least 1 years’ working experience in project management, preferably in multi-national technology services environment
- Proven client engagement experience Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
