Public Relations Manager

• Codewise is looking for a Public Relations manager who will be responsible for promoting the company’s vision, mission and expertise, and building awareness with key business and technology publications worldwide. This role is a fit for a creative self-starter with a passion for technology. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in media relations, experience driving a proactive communications strategy, with significant success in securing impactful stories in top-tier publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute worldwide PR campaigns
• Drive media briefings with key publications
• Identify relevant topics and pitch compelling stories to drive media coverage
• Manage an ongoing commentary program and work with other stakeholders on securing newsjacking opportunities
• Establish and maintain relationships with key media and influencers
• Secure regular and consistent coverage in target publications
• Secure speaking opportunities at leading industry conferences
• Plan and organize media events
• Develop press content: press releases, FAQs, statements, fact sheets, bylined articles, blogposts, speaking abstracts and award submissions

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in technology PR and media relations
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• In-depth knowledge of the global media landscape and industry trends
• Ability to execute on a variety of concurrent projects on schedule in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Results-oriented, self-motivated and organized
• Proven track record of planning and executing successful PR programs
• Existing media relationships with key business and tech reporters
• 5-7 years of experience, ideally a mix of agency and in-house
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or other related fields
