Python Developer pro Big Data Security Analytics

Are you ready to join the cyber-security fight and help us finally win the battle against the AI-powered dark side? We are Boxtrap, and we are working on a Big Data Security Analytics tool that offers a unique combination of AI, business knowledge, statistical and mathematical methods and our great passion for Security.

We are currently looking for a Python Developer who is in love with Cybersecurity and will help take our product to the next level.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop Python 3.6 applications while providing expertise during the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design to testing
  • Create applications to support business requirements and projects
  • Develop, implement, maintain and document Python-based applications, components and interfaces
  • Ensure designs follow compliance with specifications
  • Design and conduct tests
  • Write well-designed, testable and efficient code

We expect:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Python development ( Django Web framework would be nice)
  • Experience with developing Python-based services, parallel processing, interprocess communication
  • Experience with SQL (especially PostgreSQL) and Non-SQL database technologies, including Python ORM
  • Familiarity with technology for SW version control (Git)
  • JavaScript, CSS, and HTML & Bootstrap framework is an advantage
  • Linux operating system (CentOS) is an advantage
  • Experience with Mathematics libraries for Python (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib and similar) is an advantage
  • Design patterns and unit tests
  • Comfortable working with agile methodology and tools
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies and new programming languages (e.g. Swift and Go)
  • Fluent in Czech or Slovak
  • Intermediate level in written and spoken English
