Position Related:
Reporting and Control Specialist will work closely with Financial control team in ensuring timely & accurate reporting to Group and internal management. This position is located in Islamabad and reports to Manager Business Planning & Analysis
Goals
- Management Reporting to Telenor Group on Monthly and Quarterly basis
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting packs for Management
- Bring innovation, more insights into the way planning is being done and worked upon
- Analyze trends /variances to provide a solid basis for future decisions
- Assist in preparation of the financial update to be presented in Board Meeting
- Have constant liaison with stakeholders in Commercial, Technology and Support functions
Your Typical day at work
- Coordinate with Financial Control Team as BPA POC for the monthly closing
- Preparing and circulating the monthly and quarterly management report to Telenor group
- Liase between Group finance and Telenor Pakistan regarding submitted reporting and analysis
- Preparing, executing and improving financial models to support in reporting to reduce turnaround time
- Preparing and circulating the monthly estimated profit and loss account
- Preparing and circulating Daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting packs to the management
- Reporting on OE initiatives, follow up of the current OE initiatives to track the actual performance aginst target
- Carrying out analysis of different revenue drivers, trends and development and preparation of revenue forecasts and outlook as and when needed
- Carrying out the effective ad-hoc analyses as demanded by management to support decision making and to highlight key drivers behind revenue development
- Assist in the performance management framework and business reviews for the financial analysis towards management
- Monitoring and control of all company financials
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in business and/or certification in finance (MBA/BBA/ACCA/CA Inter)
Work experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in analytical roles preferably with Management Reporting and Business Planning.
