Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Tanaza has been founded in 2010 and has its headquarters in Milan, near Stazione Garibaldi / Porta Volta area. We (https://www.tanaza.com) developed and brought to market the first and only multi-vendor software for cloud management of WiFi Access Points and social hotspots. JOB SUMMARY

At Tanaza, your role will be to work in the Tanaza R&D Team to develop the core of the Tanaza firmware.

TECH REQUIREMENTS

Do you have more than four years experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, or in a similar role? Excellent skills in C development? Then, this role suits you!

We want to meet you, if you have:

• We’ll appreciate if you committed to open-source projects.
• 4 or more years of experience in working with C, Linux, Bash Scripting
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, IEEE802.11, …)
• Knowledge of Linux networking
• GIT experience
• Ability to work with Linux Kernel device drivers

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• BD/MD (3 or 5 years) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus
• Strong background in applications design and development for embedded devices
• Network programming in C (e.g. POSIX sockets)
• Build system hacking
• OpenWRT, Buildroot or Yocto knowledge
• Communications and writing in English
• Being self-motivated and curious
• Real passion for technology
• Wish to actively learn and grow
• Ability to take growing responsibilities
