Senior, Ethics & Compliance

You will support the Head of Compliance in developing and implementing the Company’s Ethics & Compliance programme in a manner consistent with the Company’s Code of Conduct, governing documents, policies, manuals  and applicable laws. The objective of the Ethics & Compliance Programme is to promote behavior and business practices that are aligned with established frameworks of good governance and mitigated risk exposures.

  • Keen interests in developing a career as an expert in Compliance
  • Strong analytical, drafting and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, a self-starter and a good team player who is reliable and highly disciplined
  • Excellent skills in keeping records, conducting analysis and preparing reports/ slides

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist to coordinate the development and approval of all Company policies and manuals under the Governance Work Programme
  • Monitor and ensure completion of any Ethics & Compliance e-Learning courses including the Anti-Corruption & Code of Conduct e-Learning courses by all employees.
  • Ensure that the Code of Conduct is implemented consistently and effectively through awareness building, compliance monitoring, case handling and by imposing appropriate disciplinary and/ or corrective actions.
  • Manage the approvals and/ or declarations for gifts, events and arrangements and/ or any other conflicts/ competing interests.  
  • Ensure effective implementation of the business partner compliance risk management policy which includes integrity due diligence checks on new & incumbent business partners of Digi. 
  • Develop and execute an annual compliance risk assessments and remediation exercise which includes anti-corruption and bribery risk exposures to the Company.

Your Merits:

  • A degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or other equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Compliance or other governance function with a major corporation or multi-national organization.
  • Knowledge in Audit, Risk, Fraud or anti- corruption, privacy and/ or supply chain sustainability would be an added advantage.
  • Skilled in the use of information systems, databases, Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent proficiency in English
