Senior Executive Recruiter
The Wayfair Talent Acquisition team in Europe is strategic to the company's overall success and continued growth in the EU. Our Recruiters are true business partners and are charged with finding, attracting, and hiring top talent into all parts of the company against a high bar for performance, potential, and culture-fit. As part of the successful growth of Wayfair Europe and our ambitious goals for the future, the Talent Acquisition team has carved out a dedicated Executive Recruiting function focused on senior-level hiring across the business. This opportunity will be one of the first members to join this team and help build a best-in-class executive recruiting function for one of Berlin's largest technology companies.
The Executive Recruiting team work across all departments, including Operations, Product, and Marketing to name a few. You will partner very closely with the senior leaders in Europe and Boston to help them build out their leadership teams and bring in top talent to the company. This person will need to be well-versed in all aspects of an executive search including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation, candidate and stakeholder management and offer negotiation. You will also have the opportunity to help build out the brand for Wayfair in Europe as a leading employer in the technology and ecommerce industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, drive, and manage strong relationships with Hiring Managers to ensure successful placements and partner with the team for future talent planning.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with candidates by providing superior candidate care including clearly defining position requirements and recruiting process, timely updates on progress, interview preparation and debriefing.
- Conduct research to map out talent within the target companies.
- Manage recruitment life-cycle from search kick-off through to close and successful new hire onboarding for the candidate once hired.
- Lead and develop comprehensive targeted recruitment strategies for qualified candidates via direct sourcing, database mining, internal referrals, calling, local advertising, networking, professional communities, etc.
- Effectively evaluate candidate qualifications by conducting thorough interviews.
- Successfully communicate each candidate’s experience and qualifications for the opportunity and advise the Hiring Manager on candidate background, expertise and career potential.
- Manage and negotiate both the selection and offer process including but not limited to, candidate compensation, benefits, relocation, and pre-close of the candidate.
- Work closely with a dedicated Executive Recruiting Coordinator to ensure interviews are scheduled and confirmed in a timely manner, applicant tracking system compliance and that all HR and/or recruiting-related correspondence are sent to candidates.
- Responsible for identifying and leveraging new recruitment resources.
- Provide project updates to management and stakeholders and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaign.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Executive Recruiting within an executive search firm or corporate environment (preferably both).
- Solid experience conducting in-depth competency and behavioral based interviews and evaluating candidate profiles.
- Business experience coupled with recruiting experience would be a plus. Management consulting experience is ideal.
- Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, high-growth, demanding environment.
- Direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and approaches.
- Team-oriented with ability to partner with and build upon the strengths of others to meet overall team goals.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
