Senior Frontend Engineer UI Platform

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong programming skills, passionate both about web and native mobile development to build a truly outstanding product experience for travellers from all over the world.

How we work

Our organisation is structured to allow teams the autonomy over end-to-end functionalities. With a focus on speed of delivery and team independence, we follow a microfrontend approach.

Our technology stack is diverse and ever changing. Examples of the technologies we currently use and you’ll be working with include (but are by no means limited to):

  • Javascript for frontend (React/Redux stack, Typescript)
  • Cross platform mobile development (React Native)
  • Javascript for backend (React SSR, Node.js)
  • Tooling (package managers, semantic versioning, Nexus releases, Webpack, Babel)
  • Kubernetes, Docker

 

Your day to day

  • Defining architecture that teams will follow while building microfrontends
  • Building infrastructure, tools and reusable components
  • Empowering other teams to build features both for web and native apps with React-Native

 

You Are 

  • Passionate about frontend development, and confident with your up to date knowledge of the frontend ecosystem
  • Open-source mindset
  • Experience with big or fast-growing organisations with complex UIs
  • Open to learn new technologies: You may need to write a module in Swift or bootstrap a microservice in Node. We don’t expect you to be an expert in all areas, but you should be open to gain some knowledge about them
