Site Reliability Engineer ( SRE ) Developer

MindGeek is looking for a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Developer to design systems and tools for our Development teams and work closely with our DevOps partners on creating platforms of the future. We need you because we are dealing with the top 10 highest volume of traffic in the world. The overall goal for this position is to unite agile, continuous delivery, application monitoring and automation to help our development and operations teams be more efficient, innovate faster, and deliver higher value to our partners.

This person will be working a highly scalable platform that generates websites that currently dominant the market in the current market segment.  It is a platform developed using PHP micro-services with communication to React Applications. Think of a CMS that combines traffic/domain management, ad management, payment flows and of course some highly curated pages.

• Tech Traits:

• Must: Knowledge of SOA or Microservice Based Architectures, knowledge of FE Apps such as React/Angular or VueJS, hands on experience with Linux based systems, hands on experience with Docker, hands on experience with CI/CD tools,  MySQL, Application development experience (desired in React or PHP), strong debugging skills
• Nice to Have: Hand on experience with Mesos/Kubernetes, Full-stack development experience, knowledge about CDNs, Node Express knowledge, excellent documentation skills, APM tooling

• Personality Traits: Self-driven, be slightly paranoid about system stability, willing to share and teach
