Sourcing Project Manager - Commercial & Indirect (12-months contract)

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop negotiation and sourcing strategy for category management (Portfolio – Professional Services, Travel, Facilities Management), primarily HR, sales & marketing and services vendors for new or existing requirements.
- Responsible for the overall vendor relationship/performance management for category managed
- Lead the execution of the strategic sourcing from set-up of project, conduct of RFP/RFQ, conducting of price benchmarks, develop negotiation strategy, lead negotiations until closure of contract in order to execute a structured sourcing process in accordance to the Digi Sourcing Process and SOPP;
- Take ownership of pricing and commercial terms; negotiations and re-negotiations on existing and new contracts in order to meet targeted savings/avoidance with best commercial terms possible; and ensure the technical & commercial agreements are captured, minimize risks and with adequate protection
- Provide market research, pricing benchmarks and analysis for the commodities/categories assigned as well as the vendor market in supporting the relevant Category Manager.
- Conduct periodical reporting on savings update and project deliverables for management review
- Undertake any tasks or projects been assigned accordingly by superior
Your Merits:
- Tertiary education in any discipline procurement
- Passionate about improving and developing yourself in the area of sourcing, contracting, negotiating, vendor management and stakeholder management
- Experienced in sourcing, creating strategies, executing projects will be an advantage
- Application of procurement best practices and supplier negotiation at executive level
