Sr Global Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

The Successful Engineer will join Tibco IT Infrastructure Architecture team, who can seamlessly mesh tech know-how with security acumen to help us navigate the cloud computing needs, including cloud infrastructure planning, design and management. The engineer will have a firm grasp of native cloud services and help us become more secure and efficient. 

What You'll Do

• Working together with our Product & Technologies team, Compliance and Security Group to create a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment across cloud platforms
• Managing cloud environment in accordance with company security guidelines
• Orchestrating and automating the account management across cloud platforms
• Orchestrating and automating the Security Controls across cloud platforms
• Deployment and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle. 
• Be an advocate of utilizing cloud native services to meet technology and resiliency requirements
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help secure and optimize the infrastructure
• Working with the rest of the infrastructure team to assist on-premise infrastructure and cloud connectivity

Who You Are

• 5-7 Years of Experience in IT Infrastructure engineering role
• 3+ Plus years of experience in supporting Azure Cloud environments
• Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to Azure (e.g. Google, AWS)
• Hands on experience in managing workloads and account management in Azure/AWS
• Demonstrable experience in deploying enterprise workloads in Cloud environments
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus
• Working experience with CISO team a plus
