We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and energetic team member who will join us as a full-time System Administrator and work as part of our Ankara team for our defence sector projects.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Sc. or B.A. degree, preferably B.Sc. from engineering departments or relevant
  • Proven 5+ years of work experience in system administration of defence system/ software development projects
  • Work experience of end user (project teams) support
  • Detailed knowledge and working experience in administration and troubleshooting in:
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2K8R2/2K1X
    • Windows 7/10
    • SQL Server 2K8R2 and 2K1X
    • SharePoint Server 2K1X
    • VS TFS 2K1X
    • McAfee AV
    • Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy Objects
  • Detailed knowledge and extensive experience in virtualisation, network, storage, business continuity, disaster recovery, performance optimization and monitoring
  • Practical experience with:
    • Microsoft, VMWare and Hyper-V
    • HP and EMC Storage iSCSI, F/C
    • Cisco Switch/Firewalls
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution in a secured network environment
  • System administration experience in defence teams according to regulations

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Passion of learning and personal qualification improvement
  • Ability to work in a team environment as a reliable, responsible and self-motivated team player
  • Excellent communication, and documentation skills, sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
  • Power user in Microsoft Office and open office applications
  • Very good command of both written and oral English (KPDS/YDS:80, TOEFL iBT: 96, CEFR B2 or equivalent)
  • No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily
  • Military service should be completed for male candidates
  • Valid national security clearance is a plus

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day administration and monitoring of assigned systems
  • Assistance in maintenance of operational and support environments for the software of all assigned systems
  • 2nd level support troubleshooting, evaluating and responding to incidents and service requests supporting system administrators
  • Participation in the technical design during system upgrades
  • Report to management regularly about systems as required
  • Performs other relevant duties as required
