

Technical Character Artist
Are you a skilled Technical Character Artist willing to work with us in Brno, the capital of game development in central Europe? Then we want you! The job is mainly about skinning and rigging characters, research and development in character art specialties (hair, clothes etc.) and possibly also a bit of 3D modeling and animating. The goal is to create kick-ass realistic next gen characters. You should be able to create a model from scratch and take it through a complete pipeline into an animated character in the game. We are looking for experienced, versatile and self-directed individuals with knowledge of Unreal Engine or similar development toolsets.
Requirements
- Creating character and facial skinning and rigging
- Knowledge of character pipeline, from modeling and shaders to mesh and skeletal export
- Ability to self-manage and make responsible decisions about time and project priorities
- Ability to listen to feedback and work within a team
Welcomed Skills
- Experience with UE4 character pipeline
- Creating simulation rigs for use with ragdolls and cloth
- Thorough working knowledge of Maxscript
- Experience with MAX and Zbrush to create character models
- Capable of creating 2D textures for models (Photoshop, Substance painter, etc.)
- Good knowledge of human anatomy
- Skilled in high poly modelling
- Familiar with effective polygon use, UV sets and mesh optimization
