Searching for an enthusiastic, delivery-focused technical product owner to join our growing team. You will sit alongside our product and engineering team bringing innovation to market. The ideal candidate is a resourceful self-starter, who takes ownership, moves fast and holds themselves accountable for delivering great products and user experiences.
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Delivery Focus: Work alongside our engineering team to deliver on our product roadmap. Make strong product and prioritization decisions that are aligned with our goals. Validate beta products/features with lead customers prior to product releases
- Define test plans, create test scripts, and complete product specific quality assurance testing
- Determination: Drive relentlessly towards our product goals. Use creative and innovative problem-solving skills to unblock challenges. Accept responsibility for the success of the product. Be firm on the vision
- Data Driven: Understand our key performance metrics and lead the delivery of improvements targeted at error reduction, delivery efficiency and product stability. Proactively explore data to identify product performance, issues and opportunities. Shape our product tools and data visualization. Develop & leverage reports, dashboards, and data
- Team player: Collaborate with and support your product team colleagues.
- Define and implement KPIs/success indicators and then track and communicate them
- Bring complex open issues to resolution so that your team is unblocked
- Drive operational excellence by planning and ensuring that live-site operations and customer support requirements are met
- Help Development with architecture, thinking through technical risks and delivery roll out
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar product role
- Background in business skills, management, software development and analysis.
- Experience with the technical component of a release and be the liaison between the technical and product team.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
- Understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is an asset.
- Possesses critical thinking, conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure environment is crucial;
- Experience working with ecommerce, payment gateways, revenue management and/ or API integrations valuable
- Data driven, familiarity with data visualization tools and the structures behind them
