Position Related

This role is responsible for supervising and handling the technical scope of the Workday system. Workday application is cloud based Financial Management and Human capital management solution. The role will manage team responsible for one or more geographies. This includes Data Load support, Integration maintenance, development and monitoring, Custom Report development and support including Report governance and GSS Reports Control guidelines management and Workday alert management. Provide overall Upgrade Management ownership. This role will also be responsible for compliance to Service Level Agreements and execution of daily routines.

Goals

  • Deliver on operational goals as per the departmental strategy and targets
  • Deliver to agreed SLAs & KPIs with stakeholders
  • Deliver on the operational excellence targets and ensuring employee engagement levels as agreed with line
  • Develop Workday and the processes it supports to be a strategic tool within Telenor
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiative including standardization of process along with global process owners and service delivery managers

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science, IT or relevant.

Experience / Skills

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience of working in dynamic organization with stringent deadlines
  • Experience with cross-functional work with HR and / or Finance
  • Preferred experience with Workday and / or Shared Services
  • Excellent track record with regards to collaboration, facilitation, communication and documentation
  • Experience working with Cloud Solutions


Required expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge, distinctive knowledge and experience in End user computing and User computing
  • Basic knowledge / work experience on Workday application
  • Integration maintenance
  • Custom Report development and support including Report governance
  • Workday alert management
  • Proactively solves problems
  • Ability to drive and implement change
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focus, able to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Ability to work in a diversified environment
